The Burger King Americano costs £1.99 and carries 11 kcal, which makes it the cheapest way to sit down in a Burger King without eating anything. It is espresso lengthened with hot water, pulled from the Arabica beans the chain moved to across its UK coffee range.

Black coffee is the one part of this menu that competes on quality rather than on price alone, and it undercuts the high street coffee chains by a wide margin for a comparable cup.
